Sovasta Affiliates

Privacy

Last updated 2026-10-13. This page describes what the deployed code actually does.

The one cookie

Clicking an affiliate link sets a single cookie named sovasta_ref. It holds the affiliate's public id, the solution the link pointed at, and two timestamps. Nothing else. It is set for 90 days on .sovasta.com so that the credit still works if you sign up on a different Sovasta site.

It is deliberately not marked HttpOnly, so the page can show you who you are currently credited to. Attribution is a thing you should be able to see, not a secret kept from you.

Deleting it in your browser removes the credit. Nothing else about you changes.

What it is not

This cookie does not profile you, does not follow you to sites outside sovasta.com, and is not shared with an advertising network. There is no third-party tag, pixel, or analytics script on this site.

The redirect

An affiliate link is answered with a temporary redirect and a noindex header, so these links are not collected by search engines. The destination is built by us from a fixed list of solution names — the address in the link is never used to decide where you are sent.

What is stored on our side

At the time of writing, nothing. No database is attached to this deployment, which is why the dashboard says counting is not switched on rather than showing zero. When it is switched on, what gets stored is the click, the sign-up, the plan paid, and the commission arising — tied to the affiliate's account, not to a profile of the person who clicked.

If you are an affiliate

Your public id appears in every link you share, by design. Your email and payout details are held under your One Sovasta ID account, not here. To see or remove what is held, write to support@sovasta.com.
